中医谓体虚的五种癥状。
《素问·玉机真藏论》：“脉细，皮寒，气少，泄利前后，饮食不入，此谓五虚。” 王冰 注：“虚，谓真气不足也。”
谓屋宅的五种弊病。
《宅经》卷上：“宅有五虚，令人贫耗……宅大人少，一虚；宅门大内小，二虚；墻院不完，三虚；井灶不虚，四虚；宅地多屋少、庭院广，五虚。”
五虚是病证名。五脏精气虚损的综合证候。《素问·玉机真藏论》：“脉细、皮寒、气少、泄利前后、饮食不入，此谓五虚。”
